This recliner is sold as a rocker recliner, which is by far the most popular recliner configuration. In addition, this is a full chaise recliner which means that the footrest has continuous padding from the seat down to the end of the footrest. The full chaise is considered an upper end feature.
NOT TOO TALL...NOT TOO WIDE...EXTRA HEAVY DUTY RECLINER
This First Class recliner by Lane is not categorized as a big man recliner because the seat is four inches less wide then the big man recliner. However, almost all of the other dimensions are fairly similar to the Lane big man recliners. This is a slightly scaled down version. All of the extra heavy duty features are included in this recliner such as a heavy duty mechanism of 7 gauge steel, upper end drop in coil seating like an innerspring mattress, an all steel base, and high resiliency foam seat cushions. We include this chair on this website because it will work very well for a heavy person who is not too tall and not too wide but desires a heavy duty recliner.
I am 5 ft. 11 in. tall and I can sit in this recliner and my feet just about touch the floor, and they do touch the floor if I sit slightly forward. I weigh 165 pounds with a waist of 38 in. and I have at least 6 inches of extra room in the seat from side to side.

Shipping price good for 48 states unless you live on an island or some other extra charge situation like a downtown building. We ship on an 18 wheeler and you are responsible to take the recliner off of the tailgate of the truck, which will require at least two able bodies persons. The recliner comes shipped in one large cardboard box attached to a wooden pallet. The back is not attached to the recliner. The box will need to be opened outside as it will not fit through a normal doorway. Inside the box is two pieces, the base of the recliner and the recliner back. Each piece will need to be brought into your house separately to fit through doorways. The back then slides onto the recliner base and tightens down with NO tools required. The driver is not responsible to dispose of the packing waste, although many will take the pallet off your hands. A tip may work wonders.
